Gavin Boyer Smiles Vision Therapy Success Story: Gavin Boyer

Gavin Boyer, age 9, came to AVT struggling with tired eyes and reading comprehension problems. When therapy began, he was quite shy and lacked self-confidence with reading.

As he progressed in the 12-week program, his therapist Amanda noted that he developed a “go get ‘em” attitude.

After completing the sessions, Gavin’s dad noticed “great improvement” and his mother stated that his reading has improved and he is now an “excited learner.”

“The staff, especially Amanda, is awesome. They genuinely care about your progress and celebrate milestones. The communication is great and they will always answer questions. Couldn’t be happier with the results.” Gavin’s dad said.

Gavin’s mom is a primary care physician, and was so grateful for the work AVT did with Gavin that she went out of her way to make a donation to a family at her church in our name!
