As Advanced Vision Therapy continues to grow, so too does the need for qualified personnel to care for our increasing number of patients. It is with great pride that we announce the hiring of the fourth vision therapist on our team, Kristin Gregory.

Personal Experience with Vision Therapy Drives Passion

Kristin experienced vision therapy herself after a concussion, and therefore became interested in helping others.

"After going through my own personal vision therapy for post concussion syndrome, I was fascinated by this whole world of therapy," she explains. "Becoming a Vision Therapist is more rewarding and fulfilling then I ever could have imagined."

What is vision therapy? Who is Advanced Vision Therapy?

Vision therapy uses painless techniques to remediate abnormalities of the vision system in order to help patients fully utilize vision skills. It has applications for patients who are struggling to read, are recovering from a concussion or traumatic brain injury, have autism, or who are seeking a fuller picture of the world around them through sports vision training.

Having treated over 3000 patients, Advanced Vision Therapy is a leading vision therapy practice located in Strasburg, PA. Closely associated with Strasburg Family Eyecare, AVT is accredited by the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. Advanced Vision Therapy has been a leader in vision therapy for over a decade and sees better results than nearly any practice in the area. We also employ the only certified vision therapist in Central Pennsylvania. Check out some of our success stories and contact us for more information.

Kristin Gregory: Vision Therapist

For Kristin, compassion and empathy make her a better therapist, and she couldn't imagine a more rewarding career.

"Knowing that I can relate to our patients on a personal level, having done what they are doing, just helps me be a better, more compassionate therapist."
